when your husband starts quoting Givat Halfon, that's when you know he successfully assimilated into Israeli society.

Gadol! Kol Hakavod leben.I cannot wait till you come and we will tolk only Hebrew.I see that I will have to catch the slang too. Are you updating with new movies too?
Yes, I am updating. We got Mivtza Safta from Ron, so I'm working on that too. It's better because the people are easier to understand. Gingi, and especially Sergio Constanza are hard for me to understand in Givat Halfon, but I'm getting better.
Le Sergio paneeta, lo taeeta!
The other day, as my mom called at the usual time (Friday at noon), I pick up the phone and Ryan (who speaks no Hebrew) next to me says "Yofi!". Apparently, whenever I talk to my mom, my first word after saying "hello" is "Yofi" ("Ma Shlomech?" - "Yofi"). It was just too cute.
He has a lot to learn from Ben.
