More apples, and another visit to the farm stand

we needed more apples! unfortunately it's a little late in the season, so the variety isn't as great as it was the first time around. we mostly got red delicious, which didn't last for very long, but were sure delicious as they were eaten right off the tree! they did make for a really good apple pie though.
 
after picking apples, we ventured to Jenny's Farm Stand to see some animals, ride horsies, and climb the hay (or straw?) mountain. i think Ella's excitement was about being able to run around and do stuff with her ima, finally! after running up and down the mountain thousands of times, we went to pick out pumpkins for Halloween carving. yayy!
