May 5, 2010 - Happy Birthday Ella!
Let the birthday celebrations begin!!
last night i worked on baking cupcakes for Ella's birthday party at daycare. i call them pseudo-healthy, cause they have carrots in them. here's the recipe. (i didn't use the butter in the frosting - just cream cheese - i think it turned out alright)

Happy birthday little lady! i hope i'm doing an OK job trying to make you happy. your Aba and I love you very much and wish you all the happiness in the world. Every day that goes by we watch you grow, learn, and show off your smarts, beauty and talent. we're proud being your parents and love you more then ever!

So we don't need to worry that her first birthday will pass unnoticed just because we're not there? ;) Can't wait for Saturday!
What great decorations! Ella is lucky to have such wonderful parents. I guess 'they' do really grow up fast, I can't believe she is already a year old.
