Very nice.No gefiltefish? You never liked it.Only Hazeret that goes with it.Will you also prepare Savta's mayonesse for the boild eggs?Who will be with you at the Sedder?
no gefilte, indeed i never liked it (even though i tried...). plus, i can find it here in a jar and have no idea if it's any good, since i won't even know by tasting.
as for home-made mayonnaise, us pregnant girls shouldn't be eating raw eggs, you know that!
And my last question?Who will be in the sedder?I know that Eliyahoo be with you.Anyone else?
(Your grandmother was always insulted when I refrained from eating raw mayonaise when I was pregnant.)
I think the menu sounds good.
You are doing the whole pre-food thing, right, with the blessings?
Are you reading anything?
Are you singing anything?
Are you going to color eggs this year?
I remember that my mom once bought me an egg-coloring kit. It made Batique-style-dyed eggs. I really liked them, but they started to stink after a while... (yes, we did empty them out before I started...no, we didn't make mayonnaise with them).
hey Dikla,
> You are doing the whole pre-food thing, right, with the blessings?
um.. no.
> Are you reading anything?
no.
> Are you singing anything?
no.
it's just going to be a holiday dinner this year. i figure, next year the baby will be almost a year old (!!) -- we'll start the singing and dancing then :)
> Are you going to color eggs this year?
not in the plan for this year...
ben's mom boils the eggs before we color them, maybe they stink less this way... we didn't find out, because they were eaten the next day.
eggs can still smell after you eat them, especially if you eat them the next day (with a bowl of humus).
or so i heard...
we had a very nice dinner.
for dessert we had strawberries, ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. mmmmmm.
