Snow

it's cold, and there's snow all over. i don't mind it when i'm at home, or somewhere having fun. but i really hate it when i have to deal with it on the way to work.
snow turns into slush at the side of the road, a muddy puddle you need to somehow avoid when crossing the street. an icy layer under the snow that you need to be careful not to slip on. urgh.

More snow coming today. I had to skip my run last night because the path along the Lake is icy -- that's about the only weather that will keep me from running. The weather has been just right to turn the snow into ice.

We just have snow--more since you guys were here. It's about half way up the deck railing on the upper deck and I guess there's more coming. I'm not complaining, but Dad is getting weary of the snowblower.

hey there, I followed the news, you guys had temperatures way below zero, that sucks!

Keren, I understand you so much when you mention the aversion against that, I prefer the mediterranean climate, too :)

btw: a very nice lady in the supermarket prevented minimum three colds coming up and I think I should share it with you :)

take salt from any sea, dilute it in hot water and put your feet in there, keep the water temperature up (as much as you can stand) and once you feel warm all over, go to sleep. hope this helps dealing!

a big hug!
