Frozen waterfalls
Gary took me on the snow mobile to Granary lake, to see the cliffs where water froze to a giant wall of ice. He said ice climbers go there to climb that cliff every winter! Somewhere along those cliffs are old Indian hieroglyphs but we couldn't find them. They're either under the level of the frozen water, or behind the waterfall...
It was a great trip which reminded me of the first February trip to canada many years ago, flashback to being young(er)!
On lake Duborne, we rode the snow mobile all the way to blueberry island in no time. The lake seems so much smaller in the winter!

Lake walk
Day 1: it was sunny and beautiful out when we got up in the morning (and about -30c). We went out and walked on the frozen lake for a bit.
Ella and I tried on snow shoes for the first time-- and it was fun for both of us! It's so great to be doing things together :)
