Sledding at mushroom park
We finally have enough snow to do winter stuff! Ella and Daniel did about 15 trips down this hill, and even pulled the sled back up the hill once or twice.
Chicago is The Third Coast. It's the home of some 3M people, of all nations, shapes and colors. It's also our home. Read all about it!

I haven't posted in a while... busy i guess. i don't have a good excuse! this wednesday was a "family night" at Ella's school. we all gathered at the school basement play area, and the kids put up a show for us! they have been practicing for quite a while. it started with the B-I-N-G-O song, then the itsy-bitsy-spider: then followed by a class specialty, "You can't always get what you want". a favorite of Matt's (the teacher) and ours. Despite singing these songs to us all the time for a couple of weeks now, Ella seems to have been to giddy to sing along! After the show we made some guitars from shoe boxes and office supplies (who recognizes the size 15 shoe box? that's right)

Daniel figured out how to make my phone play music. I may never see my phone again.
(the damn thing can go straight from locked position to playing music without being unlocked.)

we didn't read this book in a long time. last night, the horsie dad read it to the horsie girl and baby as a good night story, and then tucked them in for a good night sleep.
